Danny has spent more than two decades building and operating the core systems that power modern finance. As a Partner at PEAK6 for more than 25 years, he served as CTO of PEAK6 Capital Management, where he built the firm’s original trading infrastructure and automated key functions that drove its early success. He went on to found and lead OptionsHouse, a retail options brokerage acquired by private equity, and later founded Apex Clearing, the modern clearing firm behind Robinhood, Webull, Stash, M1, Public.com, SoFi, and many others. Danny also founded Apex Crypto, which powered digital asset trading for Webull, Public.com, SoFi, Revolut and more, serving more than 6 million retail customers before its acquisition by Bakkt.
